| June 21 | Volendam | The "Omloop van Volendam", sports events |
| June 22, 23, 24 | Volendam - various locations | Festival Weekend in Volendam with bands and choirs from Volendam. There will also be demonstrations of fish-smoking and repairing of fishing-nets. The harbour will be full of fishing-boats just like in the old days. Locals will be wearing the traditional costumes. |

Edam Festival Week from June 19 to July 1
An extensive programme with historical and present-day activities, such as:
folklore, concerts, pageant-plays, exhibitions, community gatherings and a circus.
People will be wearing historical costumes.
The old centre will be fully decorated to celebrate 650 years of Edam-Volendam.
